Serbia’s avg net wage up 7.2% y/y in Jan
Serbia’s average net monthly wage increased by a real 7.2% on the year to 107,476 dinars ($992/917 euro) in January, after rising by an annual 9.2% in the prior month, the statistics office said on Tuesday.

On a monthly comparison basis, the average net wage declined by 1.4% in real terms in January, after rising by 7.4% in December, the statistics office said in a data release.
In January, the average monthly net wage in the public sector stood at 112,487 dinars, while in the non-public sector it amounted to 105,463 dinars.
The average gross wage in Serbia amounted to 148,440 dinars in January, up by an annual 7.2% and down by a monthly 0.6% in real terms.
In 2024, Serbia’s average net monthly wage increased by a real 9.1% and by 14.1% in nominal terms, to reach 98,143 dinars.
