Geostat: Average monthly salaries in Georgia increase by 10.9%

The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) reported that the average monthly nominal salaries in Georgia increased by 10.9%, reaching GEL 2,054.

Highest Earnings by Sector:

Information and Communication – GEL 3,976 (increased by 0.5%)
Construction – GEL 3,198 (increased by 5.4%)
Financial and Insurance Activities – GEL 3,186 (increased by 13.5%)
Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities – GEL 3,063 (increased by 17.1%).
The earnings grew by 9.1% in the business sector, amounting to GEL 2,190. Top areas included:

Information and Communication (GEL 4,065)
Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities (GEL 3,500).
When it comes to the non-business and financial sectors, salaries increased by 14.8%, with the highest wages in financial and insurance activities.
