Big paychecks in Kyiv: top jobs offering up to $3k

The top-paying jobs in Kyiv are dominated by military, medical, and technical professions, according to the Kyiv city employment center latest rankings, Ukrinform reported on Jan. 29.

The highest salaries — up to ₴140,000 — are being offered for medical specialists working with military units. These include positions such as operating room nurses, junior medical assistants, and general practitioners.

Among the top five highest-paying civilian jobs are:

Truck drivers and sales managers (up to $2k per month), with employers seeking experienced long-haul drivers and sales/logistics professionals
Software engineers ($1.6k) remain in high demand in the IT sector, where wages consistently outpace other industries
CNC machine operators and flexographic printing specialists ($1.3k) in technical professions.

Well-paid jobs for people with disabilities

The best-paying positions for individuals with disabilities include:

Manager – $3,4k
Software developer & tester – $2,8k
Data analyst – $1,8k
Correspondent – $1,7k
Editor – $1,6k​.

Salary trends in Ukraine

In 2024, the average salary in Ukraine increased by 22.2% over nine months. However, in 2025, the average wage in the agricultural sector is projected to drop by almost $200 over 12 months.
