Batumi to host GIMF 2026, spotlighting Middle Corridor

Batumi will host the Georgia International Maritime Forum – GIMF 2026 on September 7-8, with around 400 delegates from 40 countries expected to attend.

The forum will be held under the aegis of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and organised by the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia.

The international event will focus on the development of the Middle Corridor, transport and logistics connectivity, innovation, sustainable maritime transport and public-private partnerships.

The forum aims to highlight Georgia’s potential as a maritime nation and strengthen regional transport links. Ministers, heads of maritime administrations, international financial institutions and private-sector representatives are expected to participate.

GIMF has been held in Georgia since 2016.
